Elwood

Equal parts functional family home and parent’s haven, the Elwood Residence captures the duality of modern life. From the master bed, nursery and toddler’s room to the living/dining spaces and outdoor pool area, a feeling of ease flows.

As with all our interior decoration projects, great respect was paid to the colour palette. Channelling the depth of the existing kitchen joinery and shades from the living room rug, shades of green were layered amongst the space alongside greys, muted blues and accents of rust and mustard.

Playing on the palette further are two of the home’s standout pieces; a custom pair of Patagonian marble coffee tables and a painting by Black Rock-based artist Hannah Nolan.

With an emphasis on art and creative expression, thoughtful pieces underscore every room, telling the story of a life well lived along the way.

“Silvia is also a bit of a "marriage saver" quite frankly.. she was able to help my husband and I make decisions we could go both agree on which we would never have been able to do on our own. And little things.. like there is no way we would have chosen our gorgeous living room rug, but Silvia showed up to look at lounge suites with the rug samples and boom.. it all made sense.

She is a pleasure to deal with. She is positive, energetic, passionate and it’s contagious. She has high standards and an attention to detail which meant every piece or work that was done in our house was delivered to the highest standard. I can’t recommend her enough and its only taken so long to write this review as I felt like she was my "secret weapon".
