House 1915

COMING SOON.

House 1915 is a historically significant home, and Stage 1 of this design project is centred around preserving and transforming the front portion of the property.

Paying careful attention to its heritage listing, the transformation respects the house's architectural legacy while blending modern design elements throughout to create a beautiful and functional home for its Owners.

Our scope of work focused on the Entry, Formal Dining, Formal Living, and Master Bedroom. By preserving the original layout of each room, whilst honouring their architectural integrity, we introduced a modern and functional perspective through our curated furniture selection.

The end result marries classic design and contemporary style to create a home that is both timeless and practical.

“We are absolutely thrilled with the work Silvia did on our heritage home.

From the outset, Silvia’s approach was incredibly adaptable, seamlessly adjusting to our changing ideas and vision. She took the time to truly understand both of us and the character of our home. Her ability to find unique furniture pieces that we would never have discovered on our own is truly remarkable.

Silvia was able to push us out of our comfort zone with design choices, encouraging us to take risks that ultimately resulted in a space that feels fresh, unexpected, and very personal. Each selection not only complements the historic charm of the house but also enhances its functionality for modern living.

Silvia’s expertise in blending the old and the new has created a space that feels both timeless and tailored to our needs. We are proud of the beautiful home we now have, and we highly recommend Silvia and Studio Esar to anyone seeking a designer who excels in collaboration, creativity, and attention to detail.”
